In 2021, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Affiliated Sixth People's Hospital (East Campus) upgraded its air conditioning system. China HK Power provided a containerized modular energy delivery solution, including wind-cooled modules with heat recovery capabilities, ensuring supply of heating and cooling sources during the hospital area's renovation. The energy delivery modules, protected within containers, eliminated the need for additional pump rooms on the roof, facilitating on-site installation.

The upgrade involved expanding and upgrading the original basement-based equipment room, employing a combination of high-efficiency centrifugal and magnetic levitation technologies, and optimizing the selection of circulating water pumps. Integrated with the ICE Smart Integrated Energy system, the project featured functionalities such as future load forecasting, real-time performance tracking of system equipment, and dynamic algorithms minimizing energy consumption throughout operation hours. This enhancement raised the system's comprehensive energy efficiency to over 5.0 after the upgrade.
