Dr. Billy Kan, a graduate of the University of East Anglia, holds a Bachelor of Science degree and an honorary Doctor of Social Law degree. He is a Fellow of ACCA, HKICPA, HKSI, and an authorized officer of the SFC. In 2008, Dr. Kan became the major shareholder of China HK Power Smart Energy Group Limited (formerly China Natural Gas Limited, HK931), listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.With directorships in various financial institutions and listed companies since the 1980s, Dr. Kan has extensive experience in IPO planning, financing, corporate development, restructuring, accounting, and taxation.He is a member of the Hong Kong-ASEAN Economic Cooperation Foundation, Vice President of the China General Chamber of Commerce's Commerce and Logistics Branch, a founding member of the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, and an Associate Professor at the Tsinghua University Shenzhen Graduate School's Training Institute. Dr. Kan is the Chairman of the Board of the Group.
Mr. Deng Yaobo graduated from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in 1993 with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Economics. He is a Certified Cost Engineer and Certified Asset Appraiser in China. Mr. Deng has held several senior executive positions, including Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at a prominent energy group, as well as Director of multiple subsidiaries. He has been responsible for the group's strategic development, corporate management, administrative oversight, corporate culture, and thermal power operations. With extensive experience in project investment and corporate management, Mr. Deng has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and President of the Group.
Ms. Ada YU studied Business Administration at Lincoln University (California) and Political Economics at Tsinghua University (Beijing). From 2008 to 2023, she worked at China Natural Gas Limited (HK931), where she served as CEO. She is a member of the Energy Industry Committee of the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association and a member of the Innovation Association of the Hong Kong Biomedical Innovation Association (HKBMIA). Ms. Yu has also served as a council member of the Scout Association of Hong Kong Kowloon Region and a council member of Yan Oi Tong. She has over 20 years of extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions of listed companies in Hong Kong. Ms. Yu has been appointed as Executive Vice President of the Group.
Mr. Rui Qin graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University with a bachelor's degree. He has over 20 years of senior management experience in a well-known energy enterprise, including roles such as Regional Operations Management Center General Manager, Chairman, and General Manager of multiple group subsidiaries. He has a profound understanding of corporate management, regional operations, and business development. Mr. Rui has been appointed as Executive Vice President of the Group.
Mr. Deng Yongbo obtained his Master's degree in Business Administration from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in 2012. He is a standing committee member of the CPPCC Suizhou Municipal Committee. Mr. Deng has dedicated himself to the energy and utilities sector, accumulating extensive industry experience. He has held various senior executive positions including Chairman, General Manager, and Deputy General Manager of subsidiaries of a well-known energy group, overseeing the operation and development of the thermal power sector. He successfully led the implementation of several major projects. Mr. Deng Yongbo has been appointed as Executive Vice President of the Group.
Mr. Liu Yongtao earned his MBA from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business in 2016. He is a delegate of the 17th People's Congress of Nanjing, Vice Chairman of the Nanjing Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Chairman of the Liuhe District Federation of Industry and Commerce. He also serves on the standing committee of the 5th CPPCC in Liuhe District, having been Vice Chairman of the 3rd Committee.
Since April 2004, Mr. Liu has been engaged in corporate management in the energy and related sectors, holding roles such as Executive Deputy Director of the Strategic Development Committee and General Manager of the Regional Operations Management Centre in a major energy group. He has also been Chairman and General Manager of various subsidiary companies. Mr. Liu has been appointed as Executive Vice President of our Group.
Mr. Chen Leixin graduated from Xidian University in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. He is Vice Chairman of the HVAC Branch of the China Construction Industry Energy Conservation Association and serves as Director of the HVAC Branch of the China Architectural Society, the China Urban Heating Association, and the Building Environment and Energy Application Branch of the China Survey and Design Association. He is also a member of the National Standardization Technical Committee for Separation Machinery and a committee member of the Yixing Municipal CPPCC.
Mr. Chen has contributed to drafting several national and industry standards, focusing on energy efficiency and low-carbon energy conservation. In 2012, he founded Shanghai AoTu Fluid Technology Co., Ltd., and established the Wuxi production base in 2017. Mr. Chen Leixin is now Executive Vice President of the Group.
Mr. Lan Hai graduated from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in 1995 with a degree in Accounting. He has held various roles including General Manager of the Regional Operations Management Center, Financial Director, and Executive General Manager of subsidiary companies within a prominent energy group. Mr. Lan has extensive experience in financial auditing, having served as an appraiser and auditor at firms such as Hubei Tiancheng Certified Public Accountants, Hubei Tianyuan Asset Appraisal Firm, Hubei Hong Kong Certified Public Accountants Firm, and Hubei Tianyu Certified Public Accountants Co., Ltd. Mr. Lan Hai has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the Group.
Mr. Tong Aiguo graduated from Huazhong Agricultural University in 1986 with a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Microbiology. He has previously served as Executive General Manager of a subsidiary company within a well-known energy group, overseeing pipeline gas trading operations. He has also led the Natural Gas Supply Chain and Trading Department, and held positions as Assistant Director of the Natural Gas Transportation and Trading Management Centre, Office Director, Deputy General Manager of the Regional Operations Management Centre, and Marketing Director. Mr. Tong Aiguo has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer of the Group.
Mr. Ray Zhu earned his MBA from Western Michigan University in 2004. He is a member of the 8th People's Congress of Luohu District, Shenzhen, and serves on the Standing Committee. He is also a member of the Non-Public Party Committee of Luohu District.
Previously, Mr. Zhu held roles including Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Trade Union, and General Manager of the Culture and Public Affairs Department at a prominent energy group, overseeing party affairs, trade unions, corporate culture, and public relations. He also served as Director of the President's Office, General Manager of the Administration Department, and Deputy General Manager of various subsidiaries. Mr. Zhu is now Chief Administrative Officer of the Group.
Mr. Qian Hao graduated from Hubei University in 1998 with a degree in Finance and Accounting. Over the past two decades, he has held senior executive positions, including Chairman and General Manager, at several subsidiaries of a prominent energy group. His extensive experience in corporate management has equipped him with a deep understanding of the energy sector and strategic development. Mr. Qian has now been appointed as the General Manager of the Natural Gas Division at the Group.
Mr. Yu Chengjun holds a bachelor's degree. He has previously served as Deputy General Manager at several subsidiaries of a well-known energy group, Director of the Office of the Group's Public Affairs Research Center, and Investment Director at the Southwest Regional Management Center. Mr. Yu has been appointed as Deputy General Manager of the New Energy Division at the Group.
