On September 6, the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government hosted the "Invest in Shaanxi: Xi'an Metropolitan Area Meets the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area High-Quality Development Investment Promotion Conference" in Shenzhen. At the event, China HK Power signed a strategic framework agreement on a clean energy heating project with the People’s Government of Weiyang District, Xi'an, marking a significant step in advancing green, low-carbon development and optimizing the regional energy structure.
Recently, senior leaders of the Group, including Chief Executive Officier and President Yaobo Deng, Vice Presidents Qin Rui and Yongbo Deng, and Chef Administrative Officier Mr. Ray Zhu, met with Weiyang District Mayor Xiaoyu Wang and his delegation to discuss collaboration opportunities. During the meeting, President Deng provided a comprehensive overview of China HK Power's business layout and core strengths. As a company deeply rooted in the new energy and dual-carbon sectors, China HK Power adheres to its core philosophy of "Innovation-Driven, Green Development." The Group’s extensive business portfolio includes new energy development, energy conservation and emission reduction technologies, and integrated energy services. President Deng highlighted Weiyang District's strategic location and favorable investment environment as providing a broad platform for the Group’s initiatives.
Mayor Wang highly praised China HK Power’s achievements and shared insights into the current development landscape and future vision of Weiyang District. He emphasized that the district is at a critical stage of transformation and upgrading, requiring partnerships with innovative and capable enterprises like China HK Power to drive regional green transformation and high-quality development. The district government pledged its full support for China HK Power’s investment projects, particularly in the field of clean energy heating, and expressed a commitment to jointly develop a series of exemplary green initiatives that will contribute to the sustainable growth of Xi'an and the wider province.
In the presence of senior officials at the conference, Vice President Yongbo Deng represented the Group in signing the strategic framework agreement with the Weiyang District Government for the Weiyang Lake Clean Energy Heating Project. This project, a key initiative for Xi'an, is designed to cover a heating area of 5 million square meters, encompassing approximately 15 square kilometers of the Weiyang Lake area. By leveraging clean energy heating, the project aims to reduce carbon emissions, enhance residents' quality of life, and promote sustainable regional development.
The signing of this agreement not only reflects Weiyang District’s recognition of China HK Power’s preliminary efforts on the Weiyang Lake Clean Energy Heating Project but also serves as a new starting point for deeper cooperation and mutual growth. China HK Power will seize this opportunity to work closely with the Weiyang District Government to explore innovative models and pathways for clean energy heating, contributing to the transformation of China’s energy structure and the advancement of green, low-carbon development.
